Holiday Wishes · Last updated: October 18, 2026
This policy explains what information the Holiday Wishes Android app (package com.gdogaru.holidaywish)
collects, how it is used and what choices you have. The app is published by INTRICRAFT SRL.
Who we are
INTRICRAFT SRL, CUI RO8151626, Strada Ștefan Octavian Iosif nr. 7, Iași, Romania. Contact: intricraft@gmail.com.
Summary
- You do not need to create an account. The app signs in anonymously so it can load wishes and card templates.
- The app shows ads from Google AdMob. Ads may use your device's advertising ID.
- We use Firebase to deliver content, send notifications, measure usage and receive crash reports.
- The cards and messages you create stay on your device unless you choose to share them.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Information collected
Anonymous app identifier
Firebase Authentication creates an anonymous user ID when the app starts. It is not linked to your name, email or phone number, and it is used only to allow access to the app's content (wishes, card frames, icons).
Advertising data
The app shows banner and interstitial ads through Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from the IP address, device and app information, and your interactions with ads. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform to ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown.
Usage and diagnostics
Firebase Analytics, Firebase Performance Monitoring and Firebase Crashlytics collect usage events (for example which screens are opened), app performance data, crash reports, device model, OS version, app version and an app-instance identifier. We use this to understand how the app is used and to fix problems.
Notifications and configuration
Firebase Cloud Messaging uses a device token to send notifications (for example about upcoming holidays). Firebase Remote Config receives app-instance information to deliver configuration updates.
Camera and photos
If you choose to add a photo to a card, the app uses the camera or the image you pick only to build that card. Photos and finished cards are stored on your device. We do not upload them to our servers.
Sharing
When you send a wish or a card, the app opens Android's share menu. The content goes directly to the app you pick (for example a messaging or email app) and is handled under that app's own privacy policy.
How we use information
- To provide the app's content and features.
- To show ads, which keep the app free.
- To measure usage, improve the app and fix crashes.
- To send notifications, which you can turn off in Android settings.
Third-party services
These Google services process data on our behalf, under their own terms and privacy policies:
- Google Play Services
- Google AdMob and the use of data by Google partners
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Realtime Database, Storage, Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring, Cloud Messaging, Remote Config)
Your choices
- Ad personalization: you can change your consent choice in the app, and you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's Google settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
- Notifications: you can turn them off in Android settings.
- Data deletion: see Data deletion.
Data retention and security
Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months and crash reports for up to 90 days, under Firebase's default settings. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on Google Cloud infrastructure.
Children
Holiday Wishes is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro). The legal bases are consent (personalized ads) and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the app (analytics, crash reports).
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version.
